Painting contest held

KATHMANDU: The national painting contest of school students organised by Lions Club of Kathmandu United with support from the Universal Child Care and Development Centre concluded here on Saturday. Altogether 120 students from 15 different schools took part in it. The contest was held in different age categories from 4 to 12 years. In the 10-12 year age group, the winners were Shriti Shrestha, Prajjawal Bhattari and Rajan Gurung; in the 8-10 year age group, Barsha Rajbansi, Sunayan Sherchan and Apurba Jha; in the 6-8 year age group, Upama Wagle, Ashwini Gupta and Shreya Karki; in the 4-o 6 year age group, Ishan Baniya, Riti Subba and Nasana Bajracharya. — RSS
