HK cops seek info on man

KATHMANDU: Hong Kong police have asked the Nepal police to furnish information on a 23-year-old Nepali, who was arrested in Hong Kong with 7 kg of cannabis on Friday. Hemanta Malla, SP at the Narcotics Drug Control Law Enforcement Unit said, "We have sent a reply to Hong Kong."

Tributes paid to Shrestha

KATHMANDU: The office-bearers of the central office of the Nepal Blind Association (NBA) paid rich tributes to Kamala Shrestha, vice-president of the NBA and member of the Asian Blind Association. Born in Dhading on 1962, Shrestha became blind at the age of two. She died of cancer on January 6.
