Govt invitation
KATHMANDU: The government on Friday called the agitating civil servants to end their protest programmes and resolve their problems through discussion and dialogue. Saying that the government has initiated formal talks with the agitating government employees, Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Ram Chandra Poudel on Friday issued a call to the civil servants that the government was serious and positive to address the demands of the civil servants through discussion. — HNS
Phone wire stolen
MADHYAPUR THIMI: Some 300 telephone lines in Dadhikot and Gundu VDCs of Bhaktapur have been disrupted after 300 metres of telephone wire was stolen from Gamcha of Dadhikot VDC on Thursday night. Some 800 telephone lines have been disrupted in Duwakot area due to theft of telephone wire. — RSS
