KATHMANDU: Expressing concern about the “confinement” of a radio programme producer, Vinaya Raj Tripathi, on Tuesday night, the Nepal Press Institute has, in a press release issued on Wednesday, called for the immediate release of Tripathi. The Maoists had reportedly taken Tripathi, a programme producer at the Bheri FM, captive on Tuesday night. — HNS

Full lunar eclipse

KATHMANDU: A full lunar eclipse can be observed from every place in Nepal from 3:15 am Nepali time on Sunday (March 4), the BP Koirala Memorial, Planetarium and Observatory Museum Development Committee said on Wednesday. The eclipse will start from Siberia at 2:01 am, and end in Canada at 6:02 am. The eclipse will gradually wane moving from eastern Asia to Pakistan. The eclipse could be observed in seven continents. — HNS
