Indian PM reaches Sainik Manch, accorded Guard of Honour

KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been accorded Guard of Honour at the VVIP lounge of the Sainik Manch (Army Pavilion) in Tundikhel.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli received his Indian counterpart at Tundikhel.

Nepal Army offered a 19-gun salute in the visiting Prime Minister's honour. The Indian PM also inspected the parade at the Pavilion. National Anthem of both the countries, Sayaun Thunga Phoolka Hami and Jana Gana Mana, were played at the Sainik Manch.

Modi landed in Janakpur at 10:45 am this morning and reached Kathmandu after being felicitated with civic reception in Janakpur.
