Indian teen held for Jorpati robbery

KATHMANDU: Police said that they arrested a teenage boy along with Rs 500,000 cash that he allegedly robbed, in the Capital on Tuesday.

Aniket Gwa (15), who claims to be an Indian national, had robbed Subash Lamsal of Sindhupalchok district of the cash on Tuesday.

Lamsal was returning from Jorpati-based Agricultural Development Bank after withdrawing the cash, when Gwa robbed him in front of the bank.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team caught him along with the robbed cash.

Police are looking into the case
