Judicial Council Bill sent for clause-wise discussion
KATHMANDU: The Legislature-Parliament meeting passed a proposal regarding sending of the Judicial Council Bill-2073 for clause-wise discussion to the concerned committee, on Sunday.
In the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara on behalf of the Prime Minister - who also currently takes the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs - had presented the proposal for endorsement.
Meanwhile, at the meeting today, Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar read out a letter about the Cabinet expansion sent by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Finance Committee Prakash Jwala tabled three bills including the Audit (First Amendment) Bill, Employees Provident Fund (Ninth Amendment) Bill and Nepal Rastra Bank (Second Amendment) Bill for the discussion today.
