KATHMANDU, APRIL 29
Kathmandu District Health Office has temporarily suspended the Covid-19 inoculation drive owing to the prohibitory order enforced in Kathmandu valley from today.
The government had been administering the first dose of China developed Vero Cell across several health care facilities since April 25 for the people in the 18-59 age group.
Although the authorities earlier said that the vaccination drive would go on despite the new regulations, they have decided to suspend the programme until further notice.
China had donated 800,000 doses of Vero Cell manufactured by Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co Ltd (BIBP), China, under Sinopharm, to Nepal.
