The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is to blacktop the 100m road leading to Teku from Sundhara. Chief of the Road Section of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) engineer Bimal Ranjeet said they have already published tender notice to black top the narrow road.

The road section was blacktopped few years ago but the condition worsened after the then Nepal Telecom dug it up to lay pipes. "We asked Nepal Telecom to repair the road they had damaged, but they said they had already paid Rs 1.9 million to the Department of Road," said Shreedhar Manandhar, a local.
