KATHANDU: Chairman of Nepali Congress Girija Prasad Koirala on Friday stressed on consensus among the political parties.

Koirala met the delegation of the Nepal Trade Union Congress in the morning. Koirala said that old consensuses were obsolete and there was dire need of fresh consensus.

He also emphasised the need for a high level mechanism of the political parties to clear the present political deadlock.
