KP Bhattarai in hospital
KATHMANDU: Founding leader of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai has been admitted to the Norvic Hospital, Thapati, at 2:30 pm on Monday. According to the hospital sources, Bhattarai has been suffering from chest infection, anaemia and problems in urinary system for a week. He is being treated at the CCU under the supervision of Dr Bharat Rawat, Dr Ramesh Sukhani and Dr Shyam Bahadur Pandey. He is under artificial respiration.
His condition is said to be stable. He needs to stay in the hospital for one or two days, according to the hospital source. Meanwhile, issuing a press statement on Monday evening, the Nepali Congress has wished for his early recovery.
