KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 09
Most parts of the country is likely to witness light to moderate rain today, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Meteorologist Raju Pradhananga, said that chances of rain are high as the low pressure line of monsoon is towards south from its usual position.
The Department said that there is a chance of rain in some places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini Lumbini provinces in the next 24 hours. Likewise, a heavy rain along with thunder is forecast in one or two places of Lumbini province.
Weather in the nation will remain partly to generally cloudy with the chance of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning at few places on Saturday and chances of heavy rain in one or two places of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
As per the latest details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today's minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley is recorded at 20.2 degree Celsius and maximum temperature at 25.2 degree Celsius.
