KATHMANDU: CPN-UML candidate Madhav Kumar Nepal has won the parliamentary seat from Kathmandu Constituency-2.

Nepal garnered 27, 366 votes while his rival Deepak Kuinkel from Nepali Congress got 14, 902 votes. The CPN-UML candidate won by 13,064 more votes than Kuinkel.

Likewise, Bibeksheel Sajha candidate Surya Raj Acharya got 7,437 votes.
