KATHMANDU: Police arrested a man with 300 grams of undeclared gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday.

The Tuesday haul is worth Rs 1.42 million, police said.

Tripuresh Sah, a permanent resident of Malangawa Municipality-2 in Sarlahi district, was nabbed by police while he was receiving the customs-evaded six gold bars from passengers and was about to take away those precious bars from the parking area near immigration section at the TIA.

Sah has been taken to the TIA Customs Office for further inquiry, informed Metropolitan Police Airport Security Office.
