KATHMANDU: A man was severely injured when his motorcycle hit a parked truck in Kalimati of Kathmandu on Monday morning.

The injured has been identified as Ram Chandra Dhakal (28) of Bhoteodar, Lamjung, currently residing in Teku. His two-wheeler (Ba 55 Pa 5392) had hit the parked truck (La 9 Kha 6658) at around 5 this morning when he was heading towards Soalteemod.

He has been taken to Bir Hospital for treatment.

The motorcycle and the truck have been impounded while the truck driver has been nabbed by the Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati for further investigation.
