KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist died after being hit by a microbus in Swayambhu, KMC-15 on Friday night.

Gokarna BK (34), a permanent resident of Mangalpur in Chitwan district, had sustained critical injuries after being hit by a microbus, of which the registration number is not immediately identified, while he was riding on his two-wheeler (Ba 60 Pa 7309) at Halchok, KMC-15.

He was rushed to the Manmohan Memorial Hospital after the incident and was later referred to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

But, he breathed his last at the TUTH during treatment.

The microbus and its driver are on the run and police have launched a manhunt.
