KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 22
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel assumed office today.
He arrived at Singha Durbar shortly after taking the oath of office and secrecy before President Ramchandra Paudel at Shital Niwas earlier in the day.
As his first decision in office, Minister Kharel announced a plan to provide free Wi-Fi services in public spaces across ten cities, including Kathmandu, within the next five months.
