KATHMANDU: In an effort to resolve the Madheshi Janadhikar Forum's (MJF) intra-party crisis, an agreement has been formulated . According to it, MJF chairman Upendra Yadav and Parliamentary Party leader Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar will participate in the government. According to sources, chairman Yadav will lead the party’s team whereas Gachhadar will take charge of a key ministry in the government.

A task force was formed to name the ministerial candidates from the party and to find a solution to the ongoing dispute, facilitated to forge an agreement between two factions of MJF.

MJF was on the verge of a split due to the severe division between two leaders on the issue of joining the government.
