The National Youth Council Nepal is going to organise the National Youth Conference-2016 in Kathmandu from August 10 to 12.

The slogan of the conference is ‘Youths on global leadership.’

According to Founder President of NYC Nepal Saroj Baniya, the organisation planned to organise the event this week to build the capacity of youths for global leadership.

He said, “The conference aims to enhance youths’ capacity and make them self-dependent and confident through development of entrepreneurship skills, personality development, and leadership development, to name a few.”

He stated that youths from all 75 districts will be participating in the conference. Experts will be presenting their papers on leadership, personality development and entrepreneurship in the conference.

Baniya further said the organisation has been actively working to encourage youths scattered across the country to use their skills and knowledge for the development of the country.

“This conference will motivate youths for development of the nation,” he said.

The trend of youths migrating to foreign countries for greener pastures is not a new phenomenon. Baniya said the organisation has been regularly conducting such conference in the past.
