NC CA members join the chorus

Kathmandu: Constituent Assembly members of Nepali Congress on Sunday condemned what they called the ‘anti-democratic statement’ of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

PM Dahal, at a programme on Saturday had called cadres of Unified CPN-Maoist to stand ready for another revolution to safeguard the present political achievements.

Issuing a joint statement, 28 CA members expressed serious objection over the PM’s veiw which they termed as ‘extreme opportunist and undemocratic’.

Those issuing the statement include Nabindra Raj Joshi, Gagan Thapa, Pushpa Bhusal, Dhana Raj Gurung, Jagadishwor Narsingh KC, Kiran Yadav among others.

“The Prime Minister, even though being appointed in the coveted post, has been regularly expressing unde mocratic expressions and behaviours as a rebel leader. It is objectionable,” the statement reads.
