Kathmandu: Constituent Assembly members of Nepali Congress on Sunday condemned what they called the â€˜anti-democratic statementâ€™ of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
PM Dahal, at a programme on Saturday had called cadres of Unified CPN-Maoist to stand ready for another revolution to safeguard the present political achievements.
Issuing a joint statement, 28 CA members expressed serious objection over the PMâ€™s veiw which they termed as â€˜extreme opportunist and undemocraticâ€™.
Those issuing the statement include Nabindra Raj Joshi, Gagan Thapa, Pushpa Bhusal, Dhana Raj Gurung, Jagadishwor Narsingh KC, Kiran Yadav among others.
â€œThe Prime Minister, even though being appointed in the coveted post, has been regularly expressing unde mocratic expressions and behaviours as a rebel leader. It is objectionable,â€ the statement reads.
