KATHMANDU: Cadres of the major opposition party Nepali Congress have gathered at Baneshwar, chanting anti-government slogans.

The cadres are chanting slogans questioning the government's motive to airlift from Dr Govinda KC against his will which further led to the police personnel baton charging KC's supporter's at the hospital premises.

Meanwhile, scores of police personnel have been deployed in the area.
