Nepal visits victims, blast site

KATHMANDU: Madhav Kumar Nepal, the Prime Minister-designate, visited Alka and Patan hospitals at Lalitpur on Sunday morning and met the injured undergoing treatment following the powerful bomb blast at Assumption Church in Dhobighat of Lalitpur on Saturday morning. During the visit he inquired about their condition and treatment. The tragic incident claimed the lives of two people and left more than 10 seriously injured.

Earlier, he had inspected the blast site, after attending the party´s Standing Committee meeting in the party headquarters. Speaking at the blast site to journalists, he condemned the act. He said that the government will investigate the church attack and vowed to bring into book those involved in the incident.
