KATHMANDU: Newly elected Nepali Congress Treasurer Sita Devi Yadav said that the existing political problems would not be settled by changing the government.

"I do not understand the game of changing the government," Yadav said while speaking at the Reporters' Club in the Capital on Wednesday.

Nevertheless, she said that a decision regarding changing the government and resolving the existing issues would be taken after holding a meeting of the party's Central Working Committee soon.

When asked who will represent the party in the government, Yadav said that she was not much informed about the issue.

Expressing her commitment to unite the party, Yadav said that she would take the party much ahead by supporting newly elected President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Saying that the issue of Madhes could not be solved by Nepal Congress only, she said that all the parties should stand together to resolve the issue.

Moreover, Yadav went on to say that she would play an instrumental role to implement the Constitution.
