KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was seriously injured after a motorbike hit him in Samakhusi of Kathmandu district on Sunday.

The injured has been identified as Chakra Lal Shrestha (55), local of the same area.

The unidentified motorbike heading towards Samakhusi had hit Shrestha at around 6:15 last evening.

He is being treated at the Grande International Hospital, police said.

Police said they are searching for the motorbike rider, who fled the scene after the accident.
