KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a motorcycle in Naya Bazaar of Kathmandu on Thursday.

The injured has been identified as Arjun Thapa Magar (42) of Okhaldhunga district, currently residing at Imadol of Lalitpur.

The incident occurred at around 12:30 am, police said.

He is being treated at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Police have impounded the motorbike (Ba 9 Pa 7994) and arrested its rider for investigation.
