KATHMANDU: A woman died and a man got injured after a truck rammed into a motorcycle at Naikap on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Nirmala Bishwokarma (35) of Bishnudevi, informed police.

The truck (Na 5 Kha 9014) hit the two-wheeler (Ba 46 Pa 438) yesterday.

Nirmala was riding pillion when the incident occurred.

Critically injured in the incident, Nirmala was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but breathed her last on the way.

Motorcyclist Binay Bishwokarma was injured in the incident and is being treated at the Om Community Hospital.
