Plea for talks with Singapore on flights

Nepal Association of Travel Agents (NATA) has asked the government to begin dialogue with the Singapore government to continue Singapore Airlines (SIA) operation to Nepal.

The airlines, operating non-stop for the last 15 years, has said it is suspending flight to Kathmandu from May 31 on commercial grounds.

The association has said that the suspension will hit the tourism industry hard and request the government to begin dialogue with the Singapore government immediately.
