PM for public-private partnership for development, prosperity

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Puspha Kamal Dahal on Thursday said thatĀ development and prosperity will speed upĀ as much as the partnership between the public and the private sector is forged.

During a meeting with the newly elected office-bearers of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Baluwatar, the Prime Minister also expected that with the attainment of political stability in the country, the pace of developmental works would accelerate.

Elated that the members with the high spirit have been elected to the executive committee of FNCCI, Prime Minister Dahal made his commitment that the government would forge more partnership with the private sector.

The coming budget would be more "private sector-friendly" and amendment to the existing laws would gradually be made, said Dahal.
