Prez, top leaders' meet underway
KATHMANDU: A meeting called by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav with senior leaders of the four major political parties to discuss the contemporary political developments is presently underway at the Rastrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas.
Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Thapa and President of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Democratic Bijaya Kumar Gachchadar are taking part in the meeting that began at 8:30 in the morning.
The meeting, called in the context of the preliminary draft of the constitution being taken to the people starting today for their submissions on it, is also scheduled to discuss other contemporary issues.
