KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 124,000 was stolen from an unattended room in Kaldhara of KMC-16 on Monday afternoon.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves barged into the room of Narayan Adhikari after breaking the bolt of the door and whisked away with Rs 45,000 in cash and various gold ornaments.

Adhikari is a permanent resident of Bharatpur, Chitwan.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
