BHAKTAPUR: CPN Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Naya Shakti Party Nepal coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai have held serious talks on contemporary political issues today.

Following the meeting with Bhattarai, CPN-MC Chair Dahal was quoted in Rastriya Samachar Samiti as saying that they held serious talks on contemporary issues and would begin a new discourse soon.

Dahal had reached the Gatthaghar-based Nagarik Community Hospital to inquire about Bhattarai's health condition this afternoon.

Currently, Bhattarai is under treatment after undergoing prostate surgery.

Earlier, Speaker Onsari Gharti had also reached the hospital to inquire about Dr Bhattarai's health.

According to the hospital sources, Bhattarai would be discharged on Wednesday afternoon.
