KATHMANDU, MAY 26

Ruling Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has underscored the need to transform Nepal into an educational hub for foreign students by ensuring the delivery of quality education.

Speaking at an education policy discussion organized by the party's Education Department today, Deuba stressed that education is a matter of national importance and called for concerted efforts to enhance its quality-not only to retain Nepali students within the country but also to attract international students.

The former Prime Minister stated that measures must be taken to fulfill every parent's aspiration to provide quality education to their children within Nepal.

Also speaking at the event, Education Department Head Nain Singh Mahar emphasized the importance of formulating a research-oriented education policy.
