Reversing truck fatally hits minor at Changunarayan brick kiln
KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday said that a 15-month-old child was killed on the spot after being hit by a vehicle while it was reversing, at a brick kiln at Alubari of Tathali in Changunarayan Municipality-9 of Bhaktapur on Thursday.
Police said Suresh Tamang, the son of Laxman Tamang, a permanent resident of Mahadevsthan in Kavre district, while the vehicle (Ba 1 Kha 4799) hit him while he was playing.
Laxman is currently working as a labourer at the same brick kiln.
Meanwhile, police have impounded the vehicle and held its driver for investigation.
