KATHMANDU: A youth died after being hit by a road grader in Bafal of Kathmandu on Sunday.

Manju Chhetri (22), a permanent resident of Kavre, had sustained serious injuries in the accident yesterday.

The pedestrian was hit by the grader (Na 1 Kha 2650) from Bafal, KMC-15.

Immediately after the accident, she was rushed to the Manmohan Memorial Hospital, Swayambhu, which later referred the case to the Bir Hospital.

She breathed her last during treatment at the hospital.

Police are looking into the case.
