KATHMANDU, MARCH 6

Pukar Bam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken a commanding lead in the vote count for the House of Representatives seat in Kathmandu Constituency-4, according to the latest vote tally from the counting centre.

Bam has secured 9,821 votes, placing him far ahead of his nearest rival Sachin Timalsena of the Nepali Congress, who has received 2,744 votes so far. Meanwhile, Rajan Bhattarai of CPN-UML received 2,327 votes so far.

Other candidates trailing in the constituency include Surendra Raj Bhandari of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party with 526 votes, Barun Amatya of the Shram Sanskriti Party with 433 votes, Jhanak Bahadur Adhikari of the Ujyalo Nepal Party with 384 votes, and Indra Kumar Bhusal of the Nepali Communist Party with 254 votes.
