Singh’s role lauded

The contribution of late Gajendra Narayan Singh to the democratic movement of Nepal were lauded at a programme organised here today.

At the programme organised by Nepal Sadbhavana Party (NSP) on the occasion of the second death anniversary of late Singh who was also a founder president of the party, views were expressed that he was a leading figure in guiding the path of the Terai people.

Rajparishad standing committee chairman Parashu Narayan Chaudhari said the Madhishe community will never forget late Singh who had institutionalised the voices of the Terai people.

RPP president Pashupati SJB Rana lauded the tireless efforts made by late Singh to ensure social justice to the Terai people. NSP’s Badri Prasad Mandal, former minister Devi Ojha, NSP general secretary Amrita Agrahari, Rajparishad members Jayaprakash and Gajanand and a host of other speakers lauded the contribution made by late Singh to the democratic movement of Nepal.
