KATHMANDU:  Police have arrested three persons including two civil servants red-handed while receiving bribe from service seekers at the Bhaktapur Land Revenue Office in Bhaktapur Municipality-1 of Bhaktapur district on Wednesday.

The arrestees have been identified as non-gazetted first class officer (Nayab Subba) Rishi Ram Budhathoki of Chittapol, Suryabinayak Municipality-12; office assistant Keshav Khatri (55) of Pipaldanda-3 of Sindhupalchok and scribe (Lekhandas) Bishnu Bishrutu of Taumadi in Bhaktapur.

Police deployed from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority had nabbed them along with Rs 614,000 kickback money.

Police are investigating into the case.
