Two theft cases reported from Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: Police said two theft cases have been reported from the Kathmandu on Monday.

Property worth Rs 380,000 was stolen from Resham Electronics Shop at Dhalku Chok in KMC-17.

An unidentified gang broke the locks and entered into the shop before decamping with 35 mobile phone sets of different brands, and a laptop.

In another incident, in Bhaktapur, thieves entered into an unattended rented room at Nangkhel in Suryabinkayak Municipality-10.

The unidentified gang took away valuables worth Rs 104,000 including 21,000 in cash from the room of Rita Banmala.

Police said they have intensified search operations to nab the absconding suspects.
