UML tells party lawmakers to compulsorily take part in CA process

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has directed all its party lawmakers to compulsorily take part in the ongoing constitution drafting process.

A Parliamentary Party meeting held at the Constituent Assembly (CA) building on Sunday directed its lawmakers not to leave the Constituent Assembly (CA) after the clause-wise voting begins on the final draft of the constitution.

Emerging from the meeting, UML lawmaker Ganga Lal Tuladhar said party Chairman KP Sharma Oli urged all party lawmakers not to walk away from the CA and to take part in the constitution writing process.

He said that leader Oli also urged them to come together to give a full shape to the process.

The UML has also appealed to CA members from all political parties to participate in the constitution making process.
