UML leader Badal operated after cardiac arrest
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Keshav Badal was operated at the Manamohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre on the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in the Capital on Friday after suffering from cardiac arrest.
He is said to be out of danger and his condition is gradually improving, according to party sources.
Senior leaders of the party, including UML chairman KP Sharma Oli, went to the hospital today to inquire about Badal's health, the Rastriya Samachar Samiti reported, quoting leader Krishna Gopal Shrestha.
A team of doctors, Ratna Mani Gajurel, Surya Devkota and Surya Raj Pathak, had operated on Badal yesterday.
