UML standing committee meeting to finalise NA candidates for all provinces today
KATHMANDU: A standing committee meeting of CPN-UML is currently underway at UML Chair KP Sharma Oli's residence in Balkot.
The meeting is expected to finalise names of candidates that will contest the National Assembly elections, being held on February 7, from provinces 1, 2, 3 and 4.
The party on Jan 21 had picked its candidates to contest for National Assembly Elections from provinces 5,6 and 7.
UML will receive 29 of 56 seats in the National Assembly, sharing the remaining 14 seats with CPN Maoist Centre and 13 with other fringe parties in the Left Alliance.
