KATHMANDU: A woman was critically injured after a motorbike hit a scooter she was riding on at Banasthali in Kathmandu on Saturday.

The injured has been identified as Rameshwori Maharjan of Kharibot.

The motorbike (Ba 52 Pa 6541) hit the scooter (Ba 56 Pa 3202) at around 8:45 pm yesterday.

She is being treated at the Banasthali-based Sai Baba Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the motorbike and arrested the rider.
