KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday held talks with Federal Socialist Forum Chair Upendra Yadav and urged him to be part of the electoral alliance that the CPN-MC and the CPN-UML have agreed to forge.

Yadav told THT that Dahal spoke about the modalities of the electoral alliance and urged him to join the alliance.

“But our party has not made any decision yet on forging electoral alliance with any other party,” Yadav said, adding that the electoral alliance forged by the CPN-MC and CPN-UML was a result of long preparations on the part of both parties. “I do not view any alliance negatively,” he added.
