Teenage nephew hacks Jhapa youth to death in Kaushaltar
BHAKTAPUR: A youth was hacked to death, allegedly by his teenage relative, at Kaushaltar of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality on Sunday morning.
The 32-year-old victim, Saurav Subedi, who hailed from Tamungduwa of Jhapa, was fatally attacked with a khukuri by 19-year-old Paras Koirala at the former's rented room, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyam Oliya of Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi.
Subedi died on the way to the B&B Hospital .
Koirala is said to be the victim's nephew. He fled the scene after the attack.
Police have launched a manhunt for the assaulter.
