KATHMANDU: A youth was arrested on charge of manhandling an on-duty police in Naxal of Kathmandu on Friday.

Sajjal Dev Shrestha (21), currently residing in Naya Baneshwor, KMC-34, is accused of engaging in verbal argument with and assaulting police constable Man Bahadur Chand under the influence of alcohol.

Police said Chand sustained an injury in one of his eyes in the incident.

Further investigation is underway.
