In pictures: Monsoon rains cause havoc across Nepal
KATHMANDU: Dozens of people were killed and hundreds of families were displaced in the floods and landslides triggered by the torrential rainfall across the country since Friday.
Jhapa, Morang Sunsari, Saptari, Siraha, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Banke, Bardiya and Dang were the worst affected by flood.
Hundreds of houses have been submerged in Morang. Biratnagar airport has been closed after flood water gushed into the airport area.
