BHARATPUR: A person died and four others were injured when a truck (Na 16 Kha 144) fell into Trishuli River this morning.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, said police.

The truck, which was headed to Narayangadh from Muglin, fell into the river from a bridge at Ichhakamana-6 of Chitwan along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section at 7:00 am today, confirmed the Area Police Office, Muglin.

The injured are being treated at Bharatpur Hospital. Two among the injured are women.
