DADELDHURA, OCTOBER 31
Ten persons sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling on fell below the road in Alital Rural Municipality-1 this morning.
According to police, the bus (Na 8 Kha 6132), en route to Mahendranagar from Darchula, skidded off the road and fell some 100 meters below near Ghanteshwar Temple. The bus was carrying 32 passengers at the time of the incident, according to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
The injured have been identified as Kirma Oda, 45, Ramchi Oda, 50, of Dilashani Rural Municipality-6, Baitadi, Mansingh Karki, 32, of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-8, Devdatta Joshi, 30, of Dogadakedar-6, Prakash Bista, 35, Keshavdatta Joshi and Chandra Bahadur Bista, 30, of Purchaundi Municipality-10 in the district, police said.
The injured have being taken to Dhangadhi for treatment.
