GOLBAZAAR: The District Natural Disaster Rescue Committee today distributed quilts to impoverished families living in different parts of the district, to help them ward off the chilling cold.

As part of the programme, around 1200 quilts were given out in Golbazaar Municipality, Siraha Municipality and the District Hospital, said Chief District Officer Dr Man Bahadur Bishwokarma.

Likewise, around 600 quilts were distributed among impoverished students in coordination of the District Education Office and, Women and Children Development Office.
