PANCHTHAR: A youth lost his life while his younger brother sustained critical injuries after a lightning bolt struck their residence at Falgunanda Rural Municipality on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Bhogendra Tamang. According to officials, Tamang breathed his last while en route to the District Hospital, Panchthar.

Meanwhile, Tamang's younger brother Mun Kumar (11) is undergoing treatment for serious burn injuries.
